Safety & Compliance
In the world of luxury adventure travel, safety is the ultimate luxury. At Cenderawasihbay.com, a subsidiary of the Juara Holding Group, the safety and security of our guests and team are paramount. We operate in a remote and challenging environment, which is why we have implemented a comprehensive safety and compliance framework that meets and exceeds both Indonesian and international standards. Our clients can embark on their journey with the absolute confidence that every detail has been meticulously planned and managed by certified professionals.
Corporate & Regulatory Compliance
We operate with full transparency and in strict adherence to Indonesian law. Our parent company, PT Juara Holding Indonesia, maintains all necessary licenses and registrations to conduct business legally and ethically.
- Business License (SIUP Pariwisata): We hold a valid Tour and Travel Services Business License (Surat Izin Usaha Perdagangan Pariwisata) issued by the Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, authorizing us to operate as a full-service travel provider. License No: 123/SIUP-PAR/PM/V/2018.
- Tax ID (NPWP): We are a registered Indonesian taxpayer (Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak: 98.765.432.1-098.000), contributing to the national economy.
- Employee Welfare (BPJS): All our Indonesian employees are registered and covered under the national social security programs for health (BPJS Kesehatan) and employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), ensuring their well-being and legal protection.
- IATA Accreditation: As an IATA-accredited agent (Code: 15-3 1234 5), we adhere to the highest international standards for air travel booking, ticketing, and financial security.
Maritime & Aviation Safety
Our operational safety protocols are rigorous and multi-layered, covering every aspect of travel by sea and air.
Maritime Operations
- Vessel Classification: Every vessel in our partner fleet is classed by the Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia (BKI) or an equivalent international body, and undergoes regular inspections to ensure structural integrity and seaworthiness.
- SOLAS & STCW Compliance: We ensure all partner vessels are equipped according to Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) conventions. All crew members hold valid STCW (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certificates appropriate to their roles.
- Onboard Safety Systems: Our vessels are equipped with modern navigation and communication systems, including radar, GPS, depth sounders, VHF/SSB radios, and satellite telephones. Comprehensive safety equipment includes EPIRBs (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons), life rafts, and medical-grade oxygen.
- Fleet Vetting: Our Fleet & Safety Director, Captain Yusuf Iskandar, personally inspects and approves every vessel and captain, a process detailed in our Methodology.
Aviation Operations
- Airline Partnerships: We partner primarily with Garuda Indonesia, the nation’s flag carrier with a strong safety record, for commercial flights.
- Charter Vetting: All private charter aircraft and operators are vetted to ensure they hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and meet our stringent safety and maintenance standards.
- Logistical Coordination: We coordinate closely with AirNav Indonesia to monitor all flights, ensuring seamless and safe transfers for our guests.
Emergency Preparedness & Response
We plan for every contingency to ensure a swift and effective response in any unlikely event.
- Emergency Response Plan (ERP): We have a detailed, documented ERP that covers medical emergencies, vessel issues, and natural disasters. Our entire team, both on-site and in our Jakarta headquarters, is trained in these protocols.
- Medical Evacuation Partner: We maintain a corporate partnership with a leading international medical assistance and evacuation provider (e.g., International SOS) to ensure access to expert medical advice and rapid evacuation capabilities 24/7.
- Communications: A satellite phone is mandatory on every vessel, ensuring communication is possible even when out of cellular range. Our Jakarta office maintains a 24/7 duty officer to coordinate any emergency response.
